The Royal Varuna Yacht Club is one of the best kept secrets in Pattaya. It is at very close distance from the Royal Cliff on the Pratumnak hill. It is especially popular with expatriates and Thai from Bangkok who come over during the weekends. The club is surrounded by green, has its own bay with one of the best beaches in Pattaya, a swimming pool, accommodation for members, a clubhouse with WiFi, restaurant and bar. It offers boat storage for members. Catamarans and lasers can be rented from the club.
During the weekends races are organized that are popular with children who sail dinghies and lasers and adults who sail catamarans. The races are often visible from the RCG.
